6. Clannad

Animesoulking

This anime is created based on the very popular visual novel by KEY in 2004, and produced by Kyoto Animation studio. Clannad itself is a very famous old anime which is ended in season 2: Clannad After Story. This anime is very interesting to watch because of the approach and how the relationships between the characters are formed. Maybe in terms of visuals, this anime is quite old, but if it’s a matter of storyline and the plot this anime is highly recommended.

5. Ansatsu Kyoushitsu

Animesoulking

Commonly called the Assassination Classroom. This anime is divided into 2 seasons, where in season 2 it will dig deeper into the past of the protagonist, Koro sensei. Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is an action comedy manga series written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui and has been published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2012. Students there are assigned to kill Koro sensei, the creature, before he destroys the earth. While waiting for the earth to be destroyed, Koro sensei will teach the class as well as teach the students killing techniques. The anime that is presented with comedy and action makes this anime very interesting. Also, it is very surprising that the unexpected storylines starting from Itona Hirobe’s background to Kaede Ayano will be discussed thoroughly. For the ending itself, this anime is one of the best I’ve ever watched.

4. Akame ga Kill!

Animesoulking

Although it is titled Akame, the story of this anime will center on Tatsumi, a child from a village who travels to the capital city and finds out the secret of the capital’s rottenness. Disappointed by the fact that the capital city has been damaged, Tatsumi chooses to join a rebel group called Night Raid to destroy the capital city. This anime has something unique in the storyline. Even though this anime is adapted from the manga by Tashiro Tetsuya, the story and arc will be different between the manga and the anime. Well, the anime itself will have an original ending, different from the manga ending. Although several comedy scenes are inserted, the storyline for this anime will test emotions and actually is quite dark. In this anime, it also shows intense and epic battle between protagonist and antagonist characters which will inevitably lead to quite epic gore scenes. Maybe one flaw in this anime, why the waifu Chelsea has to end in a very tragic way? Anyone can explain this?

Yes, this anime does have a storyline and plot twist that is very unexpected in each episode.
