10. Kotoura-san
Oh mind reading would be pretty good right? Apart from this time. I mean are people crazy these days? Especially during the pandemic, I have doubted our species several times. It has to be like this for Kotoura, because she has the ability to read minds.
Unfortunately, that sounds better than expected. Because you can’t keep secrets from her and that creates strong conflicts in her family. So that several friendships broke up. But when all hope seems lost. That’s how she met Manabe, who promptly accepted her ability and helped her make friends.
He does so in a quirky yet heartwarming way. Kotoura-san is a cute school, slice of life and romance anime. The mind reading mechanics are used very pleasantly and combined with a loving cast. Kotoura-san definitely deserves more attention, and since I don’t want the anime to be forgotten, it’s on this list.
9. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
While Kotoura can only read minds, Saiki can truly do everything! Saiki is the definition of overpowered! He can do telepathy, telekinesis, has hundreds of superpowers, but basically he just longs to be normal.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki k. is peak, just peak comedy where everything is ridiculed, as well as refreshingly dumb characters to love. The jokes sit, the episodes are refreshing. So if you want to watch a Netflix series where every episode is entertaining, then you should give Saiki K. a chance.
8. Little Witch Academia
A believing heart is a magic! Those were the words of Shiny Chariot. A witch who performed magic for entertainment. Ako lives by this sentence, is also her role model and such. And she wants to be a witch. Who also makes others laugh, although she has nothing to do with magic and that her family is made up of normal people.
Despite these hurdles, she joins the Luna Nova Witch Academy. She makes new friends relatively quickly, like the shy Lotte and the sarcastic Sucy. But as is usual in these schools, rivals are inevitable. It’s just an unusual school anime that aims to show you what it means to fulfill your dream. And so little Ako experiences an adventure where she has to find out what it means to be a true witch.
7. Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches

But then he meets Rikka who said that to Chunibyo and she turns Yuuta’s world upside down. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions is a cute school, romance and slice of life anime with cute characters. The anime has a funny theme of growing up.

5. Medaka Box
Medaka is the powerhouse of the Hakoniwa. She is the student representative of this school. Everyone who knows anime knows that the student council president is powerful. So she leads the student council, which takes care of the problems of the students.
Most of the problems have rather supernatural twists. Medaka Box is a funny ecchi, action and school anime with quite ingenious fights. In which you quickly sad because the anime is just two seasons and you want to see more. Despite everything, one of the lesser-known anime that I wanted to present here.

You also feel partly guilty because you laugh about it. The anime remains socially critical in a funny way. I love Watamote it’s a comedy, slice of life and school anime that you should give a chance.
3. SKET Dance
At Kaimei school there is a club that aims to help others. The SKET Brigade. It consists of Usui the Brain, Hime the Brutal, Yuusuke the Concentration Master, weird term, but what he’s doing with his glasses… trust me, he’s different! No matter how big the problem is they will help you! As long as you dare to ask them for help.
They do their best, but it usually ends in a really weird way. But the most important thing is that the thought and the result counts. If there is a little less going on, lazing around is fine! Or they do some random stuff. Sounds like Gintama in a more recent era and yes it’s only at school too. Therefore, expect an extremely funny anime that will distract you from everyday stress.
2. Komi Can’t Communicate
Talk to other people. It’s so easy for most of humanity. But not for everyone, because some people find it difficult to interact with other people. Although occasionally want that! The same goes for Komi, because a single conversation is reason enough for her to flee. Tadano quickly notices and decides to help Komi.
Komi dreams of making 100 friends. Although it sounds easy, the task turns out to be more difficult than expected. But Komi and Tadano are determined to make the dream come true. Komi Can’t Communicate is a good school anime. Because every character here is special and sometimes extreme.

1. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU
Now we come to my favorite anime of all time! Because Oregairu is a brilliant school anime! Hachiman Hikigaya is the definition of a loner. With his anti-social behavior and his pessimistic view of the world, he hardly has any friends, but he doesn’t need them and accordingly he doesn’t look for them.
Until one day, as punishment, his teacher assigns him to the Helper Club with the intelligent Yukinoshita Yukino. From now on, the two help other students to solve various problems. Oregairu. is funny, dramatic, romantic, and most of all it’s about growing up.
With three seasons, it has a self-contained storyline in which no episode disappoints. Oregairu. is a must-watch title, especially if you like school anime.
