Along with this exciting news, a brand new trailer, key art, and additional cast members have been revealed. Fans can also expect Crunchyroll to stream the show as part of their fall 2024 anime lineup.
New Cast Members and Theme Songs Announced
Three new characters have joined the series, each voiced by talented actors:
- Faris, voiced by Ayumi Mano (Reign of the Seven Spellblades),
- Erinzia, voiced by Kaori Nazuka (Shangri-La Frontier),
- Listaire, voiced by Makoto Furukawa (Solo Leveling).
For the theme songs, sajou no Hana will perform the opening song, Awaku Kasuka (Pale and Faint), and Hanatan will sing the ending theme, Gradation.
Background on the Light Novel and Manga
Based on the light novel series written by Sarasa Nagase and illustrated by Mitsuya Fuji, the anime is adapted from a popular fantasy novel. The novels are published by Kadokawa Shoten, and there is also a manga adaptation with art by Anko Yuzu. The English versions of both the novel and manga are available through Cross Infinite World and Yen Press, respectively.
What is the Story of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor?
The story follows Jill, a woman sentenced to die by her fiancé, Crown Prince Gerald. Just before her execution, she escapes but is shot by an arrow. Instead of dying, she’s transported six years into the past, giving her a second chance. Determined to change her fate, Jill proposes to Hadis Teos Rave, a future enemy. This time, she’s determined to rewrite her destiny.
